To dream that you are the victim of any scheme, foretells that you will be oppressed and over-powered by your enemies. Your family relations will also be strained. To victimize others, denotes that you will amass wealth dishonorably and prefer illicit relations, to the sorrow of your companions.

To find yourself walking through green and pleasant valleys, foretells great improvements in business, and lovers will be happy and congenial. If the valley is barren, the reverse is predicted. If marshy, illness or vexations may follow.

If you visit in your dreams, you will shortly have some pleasant occasion in your life. If your visit is unpleasant, your enjoyment will be marred by the action of malicious persons. For a friend to visit you, denotes that news of a favorable nature will soon reach you. If the village looks dilapidated, or the dream indistinct, it foretells that trouble and sadness will soon come to you.

To dream of varnishing anything, denotes that you will seek to win distinction by fraudulent means. To see others varnishing, foretells that you are threatened with danger from the endeavor of friends to add to their own possessions.
